Water Soluble Release Agents
The Aquacast is a water-soluble concrete release agent which has been carefully formulated using only vegetable derivatives to make it 100% label free and fully biodegradable. The Aquacast products do not contain VOC’s, amines, silicates, polymers, or any other chemicals which in turn make them non-hazardous to the user and to the environment.
Our uncompromising approach means there are no hazards to both the user and the environment.
Aquacast is recommended for use when a high-quality finish is required. Exposed form work, and architectural finishes can be achieved using Aquacast. The natural active ingredients work very well as release agents helping reduce the imperfections found when oil based products are applied. Thus, reducing the need for subsequent repair work which can be time consuming and expensive.
Aquacast is very easily applied by spray or brush. Once the water has evaporated, a thin oily film is left behind creating the barrier required. Due to the safe formulation, it is compatible with all types of moulds and formwork including, steel, plastic, wood and fibreglass.
