Bio hydraulic oil is an environmentally friendly hydraulic fluid made from biodegradable base oils and low-toxicity additives. It provides the same pressure, lubrication, and protection as traditional hydraulic oils while reducing environmental impact.
Use bio hydraulic oil in the same way as conventional hydraulic oil—fill or top up the hydraulic reservoir according to the equipment guidelines. Always check compatibility and avoid mixing with mineral-based fluids unless the system has been flushed.

Bio hydraulic oils typically last as long as high-quality mineral hydraulic oils—often 2,000–4,000 operating hours, depending on system load, temperature, contamination levels, and maintenance practices. Regular oil analysis helps determine change intervals.
Bio hydraulic oil uses renewable, biodegradable base oils, while conventional hydraulic oil uses mineral or synthetic petroleum-based fluids. Bio oils are more environmentally friendly and safer for leak-prone or outdoor applications but must be matched to equipment specifications.
Mixing is not recommended. Combining the two can reduce biodegradability, cause additive incompatibility, and affect lubrication performance. If switching, the system should be flushed before filling with bio hydraulic oil.
Bio hydraulic oil can be used in excavators, loaders, tractors, presses, lifts, marine equipment, and any hydraulic system approved for environmentally sensitive fluids. Always confirm compatibility with seals and manufacturer requirements.
Despite being biodegradable, used bio hydraulic oil must still be disposed of at a licensed waste facility. It can contain contaminants from machinery, so it should never be poured onto the ground or into drains.
